The Opportunity: Customer Service and Sales Associate at arenaflex

As a Customer Service and Sales Associate at arenaflex, you are far more than a support representative—you are a brand ambassador, a trusted advisor, and a key driver of growth. You will be the voice of arenaflex, communicating with prospective and current parents, players, and coaches through phone, email, SMS, and live chat. Your role is to clearly and passionately communicate the transformational experience of an arenaflex camp or clinic, and to convert that enthusiasm into registrations that change lives.

Our Customer Service and Sales Associates become experts in every arenaflex product offering, from summer basketball camps to year-round coach training and clinic experiences. You will nurture key relationships within the arenaflex Partner Program, develop a deep mastery of our CRM and registration systems, and serve as the first point of contact for thousands of customers each season. This is a seasonal position with both full-time and part-time options available, offering flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a measurable impact during peak season and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

As a frontline ambassador of arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls, emails, SMS messages, and live chats from prospective parents, players, and coaches with energy, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Nurturing key relationships within the arenaflex Partner Program and other strategic partners to expand our reach and impact.
  • Becoming an expert in using arenaflex's CRM and registration systems to efficiently and accurately register players and coaches for camps, clinics, and special events.
  • Delivering world-class customer service through casual, unscripted conversations that build trust and excitement.
  • Responding to inbound client inquiries and assisting with a wide range of service-related requests and concerns, from registration questions to logistical details.
  • Placing outbound sales calls to enhance registrations, share product information, and follow up with prospective customers.
  • Providing thoughtful solutions to client issues by leveraging all available resources, exercising sound judgment under limited supervision.
  • Identifying problem areas and proactively removing obstacles to retain arenaflex clients and protect long-term relationships.
  • Providing assistance with the delivery of a wide range of products and services, stepping in wherever needed to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Completing assigned tasks accurately and on time, consistently meeting or exceeding individual and team performance targets.
  • Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, escalating, managing, and reporting customer issues with transparency and integrity.
  • Becoming an expert at clearly and passionately articulating the benefits of arenaflex camps and coach products to parents, athletes, and coaches via telephone, email, and online chat.

Shift Structure and Remote Work Requirements

This role is remote-first, giving you the flexibility to work from a home office. To succeed, you will need:

  • A quiet, distraction-free home workspace where you can focus on customer interactions.
  • A personal computer and secure, reliable internet services.
  • Availability to work shifts that may vary between 8:00 am – 8:00 pm CST Monday through Friday, Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm CST, and Sunday 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm CST.
  • Willingness to work full-time hours during peak season, May through July, when demand for our programs is at its highest. Outside of peak season, hours may vary and full-time scheduling is not guaranteed.
  • Awareness that extended vacation or time off is not available in June or July, as these months are the peak season for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role.
  • Prior sales experience, particularly in a phone-based or consultative selling environment.
  • Excellent influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Prior attendance at an arenaflex summer session as an athlete, observing coach, or instructor—a strong plus for understanding the transformational impact of our programs.
