Our mission is to empower providers with the tools and insights they need to navigate the complex landscape of medical billing, coding, and data management, ensuring that every patient record is handled with precision and every claim is optimized for full reimbursement.

Why Join arenaflex?

At arenaflex, you will become part of a purpose‑driven team that values accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement. Our West Hempstead office serves as a hub for a dynamic group of registered nurses, coding specialists, and billing professionals who work together to resolve revenue challenges for our clients. As a hybrid employee, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work combined with the camaraderie of in‑office collaboration—typically two to three days a week on site. This balance fosters a supportive environment where you can develop your technical skills, deepen your knowledge of healthcare operations, and make a tangible impact on the financial health of the institutions we serve.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Associate within the Revenue Recovery Department, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks that keep the data flow smooth and the reimbursement cycle on track. Your day‑to‑day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Retrieving patient medical records from diverse hospital information systems, ensuring completeness and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Generating and formatting patient itemized bills for internal audits and external payer reviews, adhering to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Extracting, entering, and validating data within hospital patient accounting platforms, guaranteeing accuracy for downstream billing processes.
  • Conducting outbound phone calls to post‑acute care facilities to gather missing information, clarify discrepancies, and expedite claim resolution.
  • Running, customizing, and distributing analytical reports that track recovery progress, identify trends, and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Providing ad‑hoc data‑entry support to the recovery team, including scanning, indexing, and organizing documents for rapid retrieval.
  • Collaborating closely with nurses, coders, and billing analysts to resolve complex cases, share insights, and improve overall workflow efficiency.
  • Maintaining meticulous documentation of all interactions, data changes, and project milestones within arenaflex’s secure project management system.
