Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a strategic, passionate, and visionary Experienced Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Lead to join our External Games team. Reporting to the Production Director, this role will be responsible for architecting and executing the Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (D&I) strategy across our entire portfolio of external game partnerships. You will collaborate with game studios, producers, business development leads, product managers, and creative directors to embed inclusive practices into the fabric of game design, development, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision Development: Design, expand, and continuously refine a comprehensive D&I strategic vision for the external games portfolio, including best practices, program structures, measurable goals, and budget considerations.
  • Integration Across Game Development Lifecycle: Inspire and guide external game teams to weave the D&I vision into every stage of game sourcing, design, and development, ensuring that inclusivity is not an afterthought but a foundational element.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with producers, business development managers, and creative leads across external games to ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion are integral to the games we choose, build, and launch.
  • Inclusive Design Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to game studios, providing hands-on guidance to help them address accessibility and representation challenges in their titles.
  • Industry Impact Strategy: Partner with the Production Director and VP of External Games to develop and execute a clear industry impact strategy, including programs that support and amplify underrepresented developers, studios, and creative voices.
  • External Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry organizations such as WINGS, BVIG, IDGA, and others to advance shared goals around equity and inclusion in gaming.
  • Program Management: Oversee the daily operations of all D&I-related initiatives, applying structured methodologies to manage change, track progress, and measure outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of project managers and producers with a specialized focus on accessibility, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within the gaming industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working in game development environments across both mobile and PC platforms.
  • A proven track record of translating high-level D&I strategy into actionable, successful programs that produce measurable change.
  • Experience planning and leading programs from a game production perspective, with the ability to drive meaningful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of titles.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
  • Deep knowledge of the current landscape, emerging trends, and best practices in inclusion, accessibility, and representation across new media, technology, and entertainment.
  • A genuine passion for playing and developing video games, with an intuitive understanding of what makes experiences engaging and accessible to all players.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

  • Experience working with external development partners or publishing models.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, guidelines, and tools used in modern game development.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • A creative, unconventional problem-solving mindset, with the ability to develop innovative approaches to complex challenges.
  • Experience managing and developing team members, including producers and project managers.

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a comprehensive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. For this role, the annual salary is approximately $75,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
