Role Overview – What You’ll Do as a Remote Registered Behavior Technician As a Remote Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Key Autism Services, you will serve as the front‑line clinician who implements individualized ABA therapy in the home environment of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Working under the direct supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will collect data, execute behavior‑support plans, and help families build lasting skills. Although the role is classified as remote, you will travel to client homes within the Marietta, GA area (or other designated service regions) using your own reliable vehicle and insurance. This hybrid model blends the flexibility of remote work with the rewarding personal interaction of in‑home therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • One‑on‑one ABA Sessions: Deliver evidence‑based ABA therapy to children (ages 2‑18) in their natural home setting, ensuring fidelity to the behavior plan.
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Accurately record behavior, skill acquisition, and task completion data during each session using digital tools; submit reports to supervising BCBAs promptly.
  • Implementation of Intervention Plans: Conduct discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), and other ABA techniques as outlined in the client’s individualized treatment plan.
  • Collaboration with Families: Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to parents, caregivers, and support staff; coach families on generalization strategies.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain timely, professional correspondence with supervisors, attending scheduled case review meetings and providing feedback on treatment effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Uphold the ethical standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding client privacy and safety.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing professional development, webinars, and training sessions offered by Key Autism.
  • Physical & Safety Duties: Safely lift and maneuver equipment up to 35 lbs, and adapt to indoor/outdoor settings as required by session plans.
