Remote Telemedicine Physician

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Position Overview Curative HR LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Telemedicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our innovative healthcare team. As a Telemedicine Physician, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the healthcare experience for our members by delivering evidence-based medical advice through virtual consultations. This full-time position is designed for healthcare professionals who are passionate about preventative medicine and who thrive in a collaborative, remote work environment. About the Organization Curative HR LLC is a rapidly growing employer-sponsored health insurance company headquartered in Austin, Texas. Our mission is to revolutionize the U.S. healthcare system by eliminating barriers and making healthcare accessible to all members through a $0 copay and $0 deductible plan. We focus on preventative medicine, ensuring that members receive the care they need without financial burdens. Our approach not only enhances access to healthcare but also empowers members to take charge of their health through proactive engagement.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and the convenience of working from your home. You will be equipped with the necessary tools and technology to facilitate efficient virtual consultations. Our supportive team comprises experienced healthcare professionals who share a commitment to enhancing member health outcomes. At Curative, we foster a constructive and collaborative atmosphere where every team member can contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Baseline Visits for health plan members, comprising 70-90% of your work. These visits are primarily focused on preventative care, allowing members to fully utilize their $0 copay, $0 deductible plan.
  • Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs), dedicating 10-30% of your time to supportive leadership in the virtual care setting.
  • Provide medical guidance and share your expertise with APPs during patient consultations, ensuring high-quality care across our healthcare services.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and innovative workplace culture at Curative, where teamwork and communication are emphasized.
  • Secure and maintain multi-state medical licenses as necessary to provide services to a diverse population of members.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will engage with a diverse population of health plan members who are benefiting from Curative’s unique insurance model. The focus on preventative medicine means you will often work with individuals seeking to monitor and improve their health proactively rather than simply reacting to illness. Your compassionate advice and expert guidance during virtual visits can significantly influence their health trajectories and overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • A Doctoral degree (MD/DO) with a current, active, and unencumbered Texas medical license is required.
  • A passion for preventative medicine and innovative healthcare approaches is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with team members.
  • A servant-leadership mindset, valuing teamwork and collaboration in a remote work setting.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience providing both in-person and virtual primary care services.
  • Previous primary care experience, ideally with a focus on preventative health.
  • Completion of a residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Experience collaborating with a healthcare team, including supervising APPs.
  • Possession of medical licensure in multiple states is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

At Curative, we offer competitive compensation packages reflecting your qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance options, professional development opportunities, generous paid time off, and resources to support your work-life balance. Our commitment to your success and happiness drives our benefits package, ensuring you have the support necessary to thrive both personally and professionally.

Career Growth Opportunities

Curative values the growth of our team members. We provide ample opportunities for professional development, ongoing education, and training in telemedicine and preventative care practices. As our organization continues to expand, there will also be opportunities for upward movement within the company, allowing you to elevate your career in a dynamic healthcare environment. Why Join Our Team Joining Curative means becoming part of a mission-driven organization passionate about reshaping healthcare. You will work alongside dedicated professionals who share your commitment to creating positive health outcomes for our members. If you are looking for a role where you can make a significant impact, drive innovation, and be part of a collaborative team, we encourage you to apply. Application Information To apply for the position of Remote Telemedicine Physician at Curative HR LLC, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your qualifications and interest in this role.
