The Driver Onboarding Specialist & Data Entry Clerk is the gateway through which aspiring delivery professionals transition from applicant to active driver. By ensuring that every new driver meets safety, compliance, and performance standards, you help maintain the high‑quality service that arenaflex promises to its customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Review & Verification: Examine driver applications, insurance policies, and vehicle registration documents for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility according to arenaflex standards.
  • Virtual Vehicle Safety Inspections: Conduct live, video‑based safety checks with prospective drivers, guiding them through each step and providing constructive feedback. Training is provided to ensure confidence and consistency.
  • Candidate Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery professionals via text, chat, and email, delivering timely updates on application status, next steps, and required documentation.
  • Background Check Coordination: Initiate and track pre‑employment background checks using arenaflex’s proprietary software, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
  • Data Management & Entry: Accurately input applicant information into the arenaflex system, maintaining clean, organized records that support analytics and reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or recurring issues in the onboarding workflow and propose actionable solutions to streamline operations.
  • Collaboration with Cross‑Functional Teams: Partner with HR, Operations, and Product teams to align onboarding processes with broader company objectives and technology updates.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a business environment, preferably in data entry, HR, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume documentation with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency with web‑based applications, CRM tools, and smartphone platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly, solution‑oriented demeanor.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection, a dedicated computer, and a smartphone for communication and virtual inspections.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience recruiting or onboarding gig‑economy workers, such as rideshare or delivery drivers.
  • Familiarity with background check platforms and compliance regulations (e.g., DOT, insurance standards).
  • Previous exposure to SaaS tools for workflow automation and data management.

  • Detail Orientation: Ability to spot inconsistencies in documents and data entries, ensuring every driver meets arenaflex’s rigorous standards.
  • Time Management: Prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle weekend shifts when needed.
  • Tech Fluency: Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms, video conferencing tools, and mobile applications.
  • Empathy & Customer Focus: A genuine desire to help drivers succeed, providing clear guidance and support throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quickly resolve issues that arise during the verification process, escalating only when necessary.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

Salary Range: $25,000 – $35,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and skill set.

Preferred states include: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Candidates from other states will be considered on an individual basis.
