Our client is seeking an Area Contract Manager to protect their corporate interests, manage high-value portfolios, need a relevant degree and 15+ years of experience and drive innovation in large-scale infrastructure deployment. location: Houston, Texas job type: Contract salary: $66.67 - 100.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for data center design and construction contracts for Our Client across the central region, ensuring alignment with all obligations.
- Oversee the end-to-end change process, including the review, negotiation, and approval of change orders, claims, and commercial entitlement assessments.
- Proactively identify, assess, and escalate commercial risks by partnering closely with Legal, Sourcing, and Area Management to develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Pre-Construction, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure that contract terms accurately reflect Our Client's project budgets and procurement strategies.
- Implement contract management tools and playbooks while coaching cross-functional partners to standardize practices and improve programmatic efficiencies.
