As a Senior Analyst at arenaflex, you will be the bridge between complex cyber threat data and the decision‑makers who rely on it. Role Overview This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Virginia, USA. While the title includes “Remote,” the nature of the work requires close collaboration with client teams and arenaflex’s internal threat intelligence community, making a physical presence essential. You will be responsible for data entry, analysis, and the production of concise briefings that drive actionable outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Data Integration & Entry Accurately capture and organize raw data from sensors, incident response feeds, and external intelligence sources into arenaflex’s secure platforms. Threat Analysis Conduct strategic and operational analysis of malicious cyber activity, identifying tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors. Reporting & Briefing Prepare and deliver written and oral briefings to client leadership, security teams, and technical analysts, translating technical findings into business‑relevant recommendations. Collaboration Work closely with senior threat analysts, incident responders, and client stakeholders to ensure intelligence is contextualized and actionable. Continuous Learning Stay current on emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices in cyber threat intelligence (CTI) to enhance the quality of analysis. Compliance & Security Handle US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a polygraph, adhering to strict security protocols and data handling standards. Process Improvement Identify gaps in data collection and analysis workflows, proposing enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Intelligence Studies, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital threat intelligence role, preferably within a client‑facing environment. Hands‑on experience with the CTI lifecycle Collect, Protect, Analyze, and Respond. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior executives. Eligibility for US Government Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph. Strong written communication skills, with a track record of producing clear, concise reports and briefings. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience analyzing strategic (advanced) CTI in operational environments, supporting detection, investigation, and response capabilities. Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEM tools, and data visualization software. Ability to synthesize raw data from multiple sources—sensors, incident response tickets, open‑source feeds—into coherent intelligence products. Familiarity with industry frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII, and the Cyber Kill Chain. Demonstrated teamwork in fast‑paced, dynamic settings, with a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving. Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading small analytical projects.
