Position Overview

We are actively seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, and strategically minded Remote Corporate Travel Account Manager to join our expanding enterprise sales division. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a knowledgeable authority and trusted advisor for corporate travel management organizations (TMCs), driving substantial revenue growth while cultivating high-value partnerships that position arenaflex as an industry leader. Key Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary informed authority and trusted advisor for Travel Management Company (TMC) business at arenaflex, providing deep industry insights and strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Relationship Development: Build and nurture key business relationships with TMC accounts, with a particular focus on identifying lucrative business travel opportunities that drive mutual growth for both arenaflex and our valued partners.
  • Autonomous Negotiation Leadership: With minimal direction from senior leadership, exercise extensive judgment to manage pricing structures, conduct comprehensive cost analyses, and lead complex negotiations of all TMC agreements. Your goal will be to secure the highest possible market share and yield within individual commercial markets.
  • Cross-Functional Legal Collaboration: Partner closely with legal and risk management supervisory teams to develop and execute contractually sound agreements that protect arenaflex's interests while fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Performance Analysis & Compliance: Analyze revenue streams, discount structures, and contract performance metrics to ensure objective compliance, profitability, and alignment with established financial targets.
  • Revenue Optimization: Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitive positioning, and partnership performance data.
  • Marketing Synergy: Collaborate with marketing and customer loyalty teams to develop marketing-driven promotions that support sales efforts, enhance brand visibility, and drive new customer acquisition.
  • Account Management: Oversee the comprehensive management of TMC corporate accounts through strategic sales calls, professional negotiations, and seamless coordination with internal pricing teams.
  • Business Development Planning: Design and execute business growth plans, lead the development of additional corporate accounts, and collaborate with revenue management teams to ensure optimal deal filings and revenue realization per contractual specifications.
  • Trend Analysis & Strategic Positioning: Monitor reporting metrics and analytics to identify emerging trends, develop strategic initiatives, and ensure arenaflex is positioned optimally within the competitive marketplace.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Diligently track revenue, commissions, and contract execution to ensure maximum revenue capture and the achievement of aggressive share-of-market objectives.
  • Resource Optimization: Effectively manage and allocate time and resources to maximize revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rates, ensuring arenaflex maintains its competitive edge.
  • Regional Sales Strategy: Prepare and execute comprehensive regional sales plans aligned with corporate sales targets, ensuring arenaflex is strategically positioned against competitors and leveraging market opportunities to their fullest potential.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, OR two additional years of relevant training and professional experience in lieu of a four-year degree.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in outside sales, with a specific concentration in the retail travel management environment or a closely related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced capability with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Educational Foundation: High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience working within the airline or commercial aviation industry is highly desirable.
  • Prior exposure to and practical utilization of travel industry data reporting sources such as ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation) and Sabre (Crystal) is a significant advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive results that serve the organization's strategic objectives.
