Position Overview

As a Remote Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as a vital point of contact for passengers reaching out through phone, chat, email, and other digital channels. You will handle a wide spectrum of inquiries — from reservation changes and baggage questions to flight status updates, loyalty program support, and general travel guidance. Key Responsibilities

  • Passenger Assistance Excellence: Deliver prompt, courteous, and personalized service to passengers via phone, chat, and email. Address inquiries related to reservations, flight schedules, baggage policies, seating, special accommodations, and general travel information with clarity and empathy.
  • Issue Resolution and Recovery: Handle a wide variety of passenger concerns — from minor itinerary changes to complex disruptions such as delays, cancellations, lost baggage, and refund requests. Apply critical thinking and emotional intelligence to resolve issues efficiently and preserve customer trust.
  • Booking and Rebooking Support: Guide passengers through new bookings, modifications, upgrades, and cancellations. Ensure accuracy in fare calculations, payment processing, and adherence to arenaflex policies, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurate Information Sharing: Stay informed on changing travel regulations, security procedures, visa requirements, weather advisories, and airport operations. Communicate updates clearly and proactively so passengers can make informed decisions.
  • Customer Engagement and Loyalty Building: Cultivate lasting relationships with travelers by identifying opportunities to enhance their journey through ancillary services, loyalty program enrollment, and personalized recommendations that elevate their experience.
  • Documentation and Quality Standards: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in the company CRM. Follow established quality assurance guidelines and contribute feedback that helps improve processes and tools.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Partner with peers, supervisors, and cross-functional departments including operations, loyalty, and baggage handling teams to coordinate seamless service delivery and share insights from the front lines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, calmly, and concisely across multiple channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service, call center, hospitality, airline, or travel industry roles.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities — particularly in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, or other languages frequently spoken by arenaflex passengers.
  • Experience working remotely or in distributed team environments.
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of IATA codes, fare structures, and airline operational procedures.
