Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Snowflake Developer to join arenaflex on a full-time, remote basis. This hybrid role blends hands-on data engineering, cloud data warehousing development, and customer-facing technical support. You will be the go-to expert for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines within the Snowflake ecosystem while also serving as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders who rely on our data infrastructure every day. From writing high-performance SQL queries to troubleshooting integration issues for end users, your work will directly influence the reliability and scalability of the data platform at arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering and Pipeline Development

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into the Snowflake data warehouse.
• Develop scalable data models and schema designs that support analytics, reporting, and downstream application needs.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse sizing, and clustering strategies to deliver fast, cost-effective performance.
• Implement automated workflows using scheduling tools, ELT/ETL frameworks, and orchestration platforms.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve overall platform efficiency.

Data Entry, Quality, and Governance

• Perform and oversee accurate data entry operations, ensuring that all records meet defined quality standards.
• Monitor and audit data integrity across the platform, proactively flagging anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Apply data governance frameworks and best practices to maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations at arenaflex.
• Maintain thorough documentation of data flows, schema changes, transformations, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies quickly.

Customer Support and Technical Troubleshooting

• Act as a primary technical contact for internal teams and external users experiencing data-related issues.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with the Snowflake cloud data platform, including data warehousing, development, and integration.
