Position Overview

We are hiring a part-time Customer Experience Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for our valued customers. In this fully remote role based in Nevada, you will engage with our community across multiple platforms, including email, live chat, and social media channels. You will be responsible for answering questions, solving problems, providing education on skincare and beauty products, and maintaining arenaflex's reputation for delivering high-quality, best-in-class service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in skincare, e-commerce startups, and the broader beauty industry. The role requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible availability primarily between the hours of 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST. The ideal candidate must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed to support our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the majority of customer inquiries across all communication platforms, building authentic relationships with the arenaflex community.
  • Generate interest and excitement around new products and services through in-depth product knowledge, skincare expertise, and engaging customer education.
  • Provide accurate information, instructions, and personalized product or service recommendations tailored to meet each customer's unique skincare needs and beauty goals.
  • Deliver "best-in-class" customer service in every interaction, thinking innovatively about ways to optimize and personalize each customer's experience with arenaflex.
  • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of arenaflex products, brand policies, and partner brands to confidently address any customer question or concern.
  • Promptly field and respond to all customer inquiries submitted via Live Chat, email, community forums, and other customer support channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing team to perform community management across all social platforms—including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels—by responding to direct messages, comments, and mentions to address customer needs and concerns.
  • Foster and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers to improve retention, drive loyalty, and encourage repeat engagement with the brand.
  • Identify trends, recurring issues, and customer feedback to share insights with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and brand-aligned tone in all written and verbal communications.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service-related role, preferably within the beauty, skincare, or cosmetics industry.
  • Must be based in Nevada, USA, and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Comfortable working across multiple communication channels, including live chat, email, and social media platforms.
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to foster and maintain meaningful customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects, conversations, and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Positive, service-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with web-based tools, messaging platforms, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a resourceful and proactive approach to customer challenges.
  • Able to work an assigned schedule that falls within our operating hours, with flexibility around weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the beauty, skincare, or wellness industry, with a working knowledge of ingredients, routines, and common skin concerns.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, online community management, and social media best practices.
  • Experience using customer support tools such as Zendesk, Gorgias, Kustomer, or similar platforms.
  • Multilingual abilities or experience working with diverse customer bases.
  • Enthusiasm for beauty content, skincare trends, and consumer education.
