Position Overview

The Remote Procurement Data Entry Specialist (also known as a Procurement Specialist – Data Entry Clerk) operates under the guidance of the Corporate Manager of Purchasing. This entry‑level role is essential to the smooth operation of arenaflex’s purchasing function, providing accurate, timely, and compliant data entry support for requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, and related documentation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure that every transaction is recorded correctly, that vendor relationships are nurtured, and that the procurement process runs like a well‑oiled machine. The position is fully remote, with all necessary equipment supplied by arenaflex, and offers a competitive hourly wage of $19‑$20.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned purchase requisitions, proactively sourcing materials or services from existing vendors whenever feasible.
  • Process orders that require manual intervention, including standing orders, blanket orders, new‑vendor requests, and service contracts, ensuring each step complies with internal policies.
  • Review purchase requisitions for budget alignment, policy adherence, and completeness before advancing them to the next approval stage.

  • Utilize arenaflex’s automated materials‑management platforms, including electronic data interchange (EDI) and vendor portals, to streamline transaction processing.
  • Conduct research on products or services using reputable reference sources to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Provide regular status updates and feedback to stakeholders on outstanding requisitions, highlighting any delays or issues.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of sourcing decisions, capturing price points, quality metrics, and delivery timelines for future reference.

Essential Qualifications
