  • Perform the intake of all non‑dispensing pharmacy prescriptions across multiple therapeutic brands, ensuring each entry complies with regulatory standards.
  • Log prescription details into the designated arenaflex pharmacy database, triage each order to the appropriate dispensing pharmacy, and verify that all required fields are completed.
  • Run eligibility checks, verify patient insurance coverage, and conduct test claims to confirm prescription validity before forwarding to reimbursement specialists.
  • Distribute processed prescriptions to the correct Reimbursement Specialists, pharmacists, and other stakeholders, maintaining clear documentation of each handoff.

Collaboration & Support

  • Provide day‑to‑day support to pharmacists on prescription processing tasks, including data verification, medication history review, and clarification of ambiguous entries.
  • Assist with inbound call volume as needed, offering courteous and knowledgeable assistance to callers ranging from patients to healthcare providers.
  • Work closely with fellow Pharmacy Technicians and cross‑functional teams to resolve complex cases, share best practices, and continuously improve workflow efficiency.
  • Promote a positive, professional working relationship with all associates, management, and external partners, embodying arenaflex’s core values of respect and teamwork.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Adhere strictly to arenaflex’s standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices for prescription handling.
  • Exercise sound judgment when encountering moderate‑scope problems, analyzing data from multiple sources to determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Participate in routine audits, data quality checks, and continuous‑improvement initiatives to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay current with evolving pharmacy regulations, payer policies, and technology updates that affect prescription processing and data entry.

Additional Duties
