As a remote‑first organization, arenaflex embraces flexibility, innovation, and continuous learning, offering a collaborative environment where every team member can thrive.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s rapidly evolving health‑care landscape, providers rely on accurate, timely, and compassionate communication to navigate complex enrollment processes, Medicaid requirements, and compliance reviews. As a Customer Service Specialist II at arenaflex, you will be the trusted voice that guides providers through these critical steps, ensuring they receive the support they need to deliver quality care to vulnerable populations, including children, older adults, individuals with traumatic brain injuries, and those with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Call Management: Answer incoming calls and voicemails on the provider relations line, addressing inquiries ranging from application status updates to assistance with Medicaid provider number applications.
  • Compliance Support: Provide clear guidance on compliance reviews, helping providers understand policy requirements and next steps.
  • Accurate Documentation: Create detailed call logs in arenaflex’s CRM system, summarizing contact details, provider concerns, and resolution outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with enrollment specialists, compliance officers, and IT support to meet business goals and ensure seamless provider experiences.
  • Document Management: Assist with uploading, organizing, and verifying essential documents such as enrollment forms, licensing certificates, and compliance reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues, suggest process enhancements, and contribute to the development of knowledge‑base articles for future reference.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special initiatives, data‑entry tasks, and other duties as directed by the team lead.

Essential Qualifications

arenaflex is looking for candidates who bring a blend of experience, education, and a passion for service excellence:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role, preferably within health‑care, public health, or social services environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) combined with at least 2 years of paid experience, or 36 months of relevant work experience.
  • Provider‑Focused Background: Demonstrated experience working with critical‑care providers, Medicaid or third‑party payer billing, provider monitoring, or provider training.
  • Sector Exposure: At least one year of experience in home health, community health, hospital settings, private practice, publicly funded institutions, long‑term care, mental health, or programs serving special populations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable navigating web‑based applications and remote‑desktop tools.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly, both verbally and in writing, while maintaining a courteous and empathetic tone.
  • Independent Judgment: Capacity to interpret policies, make sound decisions, and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: Precise data entry, meticulous record‑keeping, and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain high productivity in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with Medicaid provider enrollment processes or familiarity with state‑specific health‑care regulations.
  • Previous work in a call‑center or remote support setting, utilizing headset equipment and VOIP platforms.
  • Knowledge of health‑care terminology, billing codes, and provider credentialing.
  • Certification in Customer Service Excellence, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high‑volume call traffic while maintaining quality and compliance.

Work Environment & Schedule

arenaflex embraces a fully remote work model, providing you with the flexibility to perform your duties from a quiet, dedicated workspace. The standard shift runs from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday. To ensure optimal performance, you will need:
