[Remote] Associate Consultant (Supply Chain)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BioTalent is partnering with a leading global life sciences strategy consultancy to find high-calibre Consultants for their Supply Chain & Operations practice. The role involves working across the full supply chain lifecycle, advising senior stakeholders on strategic and operational challenges in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medtech sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead workstreams across end-to-end supply chain engagements within life sciences
- Analyse complex challenges spanning: R&D and clinical supply chains
- Manufacturing and network strategy
- Sourcing and procurement optimisation
- Demand and supply planning
- Inventory strategy and cost optimisation
- Distribution and logistics models
- Supply chain resilience and risk management
- Translate data-driven insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Develop business cases, target operating models, and implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, commercial, and operations
- Contribute to internal knowledge building and thought leadership
Skills
- Experience in strategy or management consulting, with exposure to life sciences supply chain or operations
- Strong understanding of end-to-end pharma/biotech supply chain dynamics, from development through to commercial distribution
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and communicate complex concepts clearly
- A proactive, intellectually curious mindset and strong interest in life sciences strategy
