U.S. Ecommerce Manager for K-Beauty Brand

We’re looking for a part-time Ecommerce Manager for BusanBare America, with potential to grow into a full-time role if the fit is strong. BusanBare is a premium DTC beauty brand built around made-in-Korea, patented products that solve real beauty problems. Our current hero product is BareRepair™ Nutrient Gels, an at-home manicure product that gives nails a glossy, finished look while helping damaged nails recover underneath. This role is not for a junior VA, a generic Shopify assistant, or someone who only understands one piece of ecommerce. We need someone who knows the full DTC ecommerce machine and can move between the 10-foot, 100-foot, and 10,000-foot view. One day you might be building or editing a landing page in Instapage. The next day you might be reviewing funnel performance, rewriting Klaviyo copy, coordinating with a designer, giving feedback on an upsell, or helping me and the CFO decide where the biggest revenue opportunity is. We need someone who is both strategic and hands-on. ## What You’ll Own You’ll help manage and improve the BusanBare ecommerce growth system across:

  • Shopify storefront and product pages
  • Landing pages and funnel pages
  • Klaviyo email/SMS flows and campaigns
  • Subscription and replenishment logic
  • Cart, checkout, upsells, order bumps, and post-purchase offers
  • Conversion rate optimization
  • AOV growth and bundling strategy
  • Creative and copy direction for paid traffic
  • Weekly ecommerce reporting and action plans
  • Coordination between dev, design, paid media, influencer, and fulfillment teams

You do not need to personally do everything, but you do need to know enough to direct the work, catch problems, and make sure the machine keeps moving. ## You Need to Be Strong At 1. Beauty Ecommerce You should understand how women buy beauty online, especially in the U.S. market. This means you understand:

  • Sephora / Ulta-style beauty positioning
  • DTC beauty funnels
  • Product page storytelling
  • Social proof and UGC
  • Before/after content
  • Subscription offers
  • At-home beauty products
  • How to make a product feel premium, useful, and worth trying

2. Klaviyo / Email / SMS You should be very comfortable with Klaviyo and lifecycle marketing. You should understand:

  • Welcome flows
  • Abandoned cart
  • Browse abandon
  • Post-purchase
  • Review requests
  • Replenishment
  • Winback
  • Subscription onboarding
  • Campaign emails
  • Segmentation
  • Testing subject lines, offers, timing, and copy

We already have foundational flows. We need someone who can audit, improve, rewrite, optimize, and help turn Klaviyo into a real revenue channel. 3. Landing Pages and Funnels You should be able to look at a landing page and know what’s wrong. You should understand:

  • Above-the-fold clarity
  • Hooks
  • CTAs
  • Social proof placement
  • Product education
  • Offer framing
  • Objection handling
  • Mobile UX
  • Checkout continuity
  • Paid traffic message match

Ideally, you can build or edit landing pages in tools like Instapage, Replo, Unbounce, Shogun, PageFly, or similar. At minimum, you need to be able to write the page copy, structure the page, and give clear direction to dev/design. 4. Copywriting This is very important. You need to be able to write and edit copy that sounds like real American beauty customers would actually respond to. Not stiff. Not translated. Not corporate. Not generic. Examples of our current angles:

  • The at-home manicure that helps your nails heal
  • Press-ons damaged your nails? Don’t go bare.
  • Skip the $100 salon appointment
  • No glue, no UV lamp, no icky fumes
  • Active-girl nails that keep up with gym, Pilates, swimming, running, lifting, and real life
  • Matching mani + pedi at home

We need someone who can take product benefits and turn them into copy that sells. 5. CRO and Ecommerce Analytics You should be comfortable looking at ecommerce numbers and knowing what to do next. You should understand:

  • CVR
  • AOV
  • CAC
  • ROAS
  • MER
  • LTV
  • Subscription take rate
  • Add-on attach rate
  • Checkout completion rate
  • Email revenue
  • Flow performance
  • Landing page performance
  • Offer performance
  • Contribution margin

You do not need to be a data scientist. But you need to know how to read the numbers, spot the bottleneck, and turn that into action. ## Current Team You’ll be working with:

  • Founder / acting CMO
  • Dev / Shopify implementation
  • Designer
  • Social media / creative person
  • Influencer manager with 1,200+ product seeds ready to go
  • Fulfillment and customer support
  • Paid media agency currently managing Meta
  • GCC / Arabic marketing support

The pieces exist. What we need is someone who can help coordinate the ecommerce machine so all the pieces work together. ## What Success Looks Like In the first 30 to 60 days, success looks like:

  • Landing pages are sharper and converting better.
  • Klaviyo flows and campaigns are cleaner, stronger, and more revenue-focused.
  • Product pages and checkout flows have fewer friction points.
  • Paid traffic has better message match from ad to page to checkout.
  • Weekly priorities are clear.
  • The team knows what to work on without the founder having to constantly translate strategy into tasks.
  • Copy sounds like real U.S. beauty ecommerce, not awkward or generic.
  • AOV, CVR, subscription take rate, and add-on attach rate improve.

## Who This Is For This is a strong fit if you:

  • Have real DTC ecommerce experience
  • Have worked with beauty, skincare, cosmetics, nails, haircare, wellness beauty, or similar brands
  • Have worked on brands doing real revenue, ideally 6+ figures per month
  • Know Shopify and Klaviyo very well
  • Can write strong ecommerce copy
  • Can build or direct landing pages
  • Understand CRO and funnels
  • Can move fast without needing everything to be perfect
  • Are comfortable working directly with a founder
  • Can think strategically but still get into the weeds
  • Are scrappy and commercially minded
