Oracle GoldenGate & Database Administrator Specialist - Remote

Position: Oracle GoldenGate & Database Administrator Specialist Experience: 7+ Years Location: Remote Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate & Database Administrator Specialist responsible for managing Oracle databases, implementing high-availability solutions, and supporting real-time data replication using Oracle GoldenGate. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and GoldenGate replication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments (11g, 12c, 19c, and above).
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate replication environments.
• Design and manage real-time data replication between Oracle and heterogeneous databases.
• Monitor replication lag, resolve replication issues, and ensure data consistency.
• Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
• Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and high-availability solutions.
• Conduct database performance tuning and SQL optimization.
• Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, and cloning activities.
• Implement database security standards and compliance requirements.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, SQL, or Python.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve database-related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong Oracle DBA experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture.
• Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure experience.
• Oracle Exadata experience.
• Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) implementations.
• Oracle OCP/OCA certifications.
• Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Oracle Certifications (OCP/OCA) preferred.
• 5–10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• 3+ years of Oracle GoldenGate administration experience.
