Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative role is the front line of our banking operations. You will engage directly with customers, helping them navigate account services, resolve inquiries, and discover the full suite of financial products we offer. This position blends traditional receptionist duties with core banking responsibilities, ensuring each interaction reflects arenaflex’s dedication to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Account Management

  • Greet and assist customers in person, via telephone, and through email, delivering courteous and knowledgeable service.
  • Guide clients through the process of opening checking, savings, and specialty accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records, promptly addressing any discrepancies or disputes.
  • Identify opportunities to refer customers to loan officers, wealth advisors, or other financial specialists for deeper financial solutions.

Transaction Processing & Cash Handling

  • Accurately record daily transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, using arenaflex’s banking software.
  • Count, verify, and package currency and coin, adhering to strict security protocols.
  • Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any variances immediately.
  • Manage safe deposit box operations—opening, closing, billing, and granting customer access—while maintaining confidentiality.

Administrative & Team Collaboration

  • Perform receptionist duties such as answering multi‑line phones, directing calls, and managing the lobby environment.
  • Prepare and distribute business correspondence, ensuring timely communication with internal teams and external partners.
  • Promote arenaflex’s products and services through cross‑selling techniques, educational brochures, and in‑branch events.
  • Collaborate closely with tellers, managers, and back‑office staff to resolve complex issues and improve operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated ability to build rapport, listen actively, and resolve issues with empathy.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven track record of handling cash, data entry, and documentation with precision.
  • Multi‑Tasking Capability: Comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, high‑traffic environment.
