Job Description
We are currently seeking skilled and self-motivated individuals to join our team as work-from-home accounting bookkeepers. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting the overall financial management of our clients' businesses. Responsibilities ? Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, posting journals, and reconciling accounts. ? Prepare financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. ? Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections. ? Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and quarterly financial close activities. ? Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary financial information and resolve any discrepancies. ? Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities as required. ? Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to data protection regulations. Requirements ? Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. ? Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage. ? Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). ? Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping. ?
