Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the Hyperion planning application to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting.
  • Validate data extracted from Hyperion Financial Management and other source systems, guaranteeing integrity for month‑end and quarter‑end closes.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, including intercompany eliminations, consolidation roll‑ups, and allocation issues.
  • Support system administration tasks, such as user access management, security compliance, and configuration updates.
  • Provide frontline support to finance users, troubleshooting reporting issues, assisting with ad‑hoc queries, and delivering training on system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, prototype, and implement automation opportunities that streamline planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain Essbase cubes, planning applications, reports, and forecasting models tailored to the needs of finance divisions.
  • Lead the monthly headcount reconciliation process within Hyperion, ensuring alignment with HR and payroll data.
  • Coordinate system change requests with the regulatory and general ledger teams, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solution designs, and present actionable recommendations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a finance role, with hands‑on exposure to financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong technical foundation, including experience with Hyperion, Essbase, and data modeling concepts.
