We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Experience Analyst (Contingent) to join the core development team that designs, tests, and launches cutting‑edge retail technologies. This contract position is administered through arenaflex and will support the deployment of new hardware and software solutions at customer locations across the United States. The ideal candidate is a customer‑facing program manager who can blend technical insight with a deep empathy for end‑users, turning raw data into actionable recommendations that shape product roadmaps and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the functionality and overall customer experience (CX) of emerging retail technologies, ensuring they meet arenaflex’s high standards for reliability, usability, and performance.
- Provide clear, data‑rich technical and CX feedback to cross‑functional development teams, influencing design iterations and prioritization.
- Travel to customer sites (approximately 50% of the time) to install, configure, and validate new technology deployments, acting as the on‑ground expert and liaison.
- Collect qualitative and quantitative customer feedback, conduct surveys, interviews, and observational studies, then translate findings into measurable impact metrics.
- Summarize results in concise written reports and compelling presentations for senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable next steps.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and operations specialists to develop and refine deployment processes, documentation, and training materials.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with hardware rollout, ensuring safety compliance and minimal disruption to the customer’s daily operations.
- Maintain a repository of best practices, lessons learned, and case studies to accelerate future deployments and foster continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- A four‑year degree in a science, engineering, or related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science).
- Minimum of two (2) years of hands‑on product development experience in consumer hardware, including design, testing, and field deployment.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally, to diverse audiences ranging from engineers to senior business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and data‑analysis skills, with experience turning raw data into strategic insights that drive product decisions.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments, balancing risk/reward trade‑offs effectively.
- Experience teaching or presenting technical material to non‑technical audiences, ensuring comprehension and buy‑in.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree specifically in Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Formal training or coursework in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) that enhance program coordination and delivery.
- Familiarity with retail environments, point‑of‑sale systems, or similar consumer‑facing technology ecosystems.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools and virtual deployment strategies, which are increasingly valuable in a distributed work model.
