Our distribution network reaches millions of households, convenience stores, supermarkets, and specialty retailers across the nation. As a company that values growth, community, and sustainability, arenaflex invests heavily in its people, offering a dynamic environment where ambition meets opportunity.

Why This Role Matters

The Customer Growth Representative (CGR) is the front‑line champion of arenaflex’s brand presence in the field. You will be the primary point of contact for retailers within your assigned territory, responsible for driving sales, ensuring product availability, and delivering an exceptional merchandising experience. Your work directly influences arenaflex’s market share, brand visibility, and the satisfaction of both our retail partners and end‑consumers.

Position Overview

Working full‑time, Monday through Friday, with an early start (4 am / 5 am) and occasional overtime, you will manage a portfolio of local routes that include the City of Industry and surrounding neighborhoods. You will be compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $22.22 to $27.77, plus mileage reimbursement, monthly incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Core Responsibilities

  • Sales & Promotion Execution: Actively sell arenaflex products, execute promotional campaigns, secure placement of coolers, dispensers, and point‑of‑sale (POS) materials, and leverage merchandising tactics to increase sales velocity.
  • Order Management: Assess each store’s product needs, generate accurate orders, and coordinate with the routing team to ensure timely delivery and replenishment.
  • Merchandising Excellence: Restock displays, shelves, racks, and coolers; ensure labels face outward; build promotional displays according to supervisor instructions; and maintain a clean, organized backroom.
  • Inventory Control: Implement a first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) rotation system, monitor stock levels, and proactively address potential out‑of‑stock situations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the trusted advisor for each retailer, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and communicate account activities to internal stakeholders.
  • POS Maintenance: Transport, install, replace, and maintain advertising and promotional signage in alignment with arenaflex brand standards.
  • Performance Tracking: Contribute to internal metrics scorecards, report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Special Projects: Participate in ad‑hoc initiatives, product launches, and seasonal campaigns as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of field sales, route sales, or retail merchandising experience, preferably within the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a territory independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, especially in inventory management and display construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable building rapport with store managers, owners, and corporate buyers.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
  • Physical stamina to lift, carry, and set up equipment (up to 50 lb) and to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking and rotating products.
  • Proficiency with handheld devices, route planning software, and basic Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large‑store, small‑store, and drug/convenience channel environments.
  • Previous exposure to promotional planning, planogram compliance, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Track record of implementing successful upsell or cross‑sell initiatives that increased overall account revenue.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics in the City of Industry and adjacent regions.
  • Certification in sales or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CSM).

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Ability to anticipate retailer needs and deliver solutions that enhance their profitability.
  • Analytical Thinking: Comfort interpreting sales data, inventory reports, and performance metrics to drive actionable insights.
  • Time Management: Efficiently prioritize daily routes, ensuring all accounts receive consistent attention.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quickly address stock discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or promotional gaps.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers, distribution coordinators, and marketing teams to align field activities with corporate objectives.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift based on market trends or seasonal demand.
