[Remote] SEO & AI Search Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infosys BPM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO & AI Search Specialist for a contract position. This role is crucial for enhancing online visibility and ensuring effective content ranking in both traditional organic search and AI-powered search experiences. The ideal candidate will develop SEO and AI search strategies, conduct keyword research, optimize content, and collaborate with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research for organic search and develop effective prompts for AI search engines, identifying opportunities to improve content discoverability
- Define and refine overarching SEO and AI search strategies aligned with business objectives and target audiences for specific solution areas
- Audit existing content and review new content for adherence to SEO and AI search best practices, providing actionable recommendations for improvement
- Track, analyze, and report on key SEO and AI search performance metrics, including rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversion rates along with key mentions, citations, sentiment and SOV with LLM’s
- Propose specific edits to existing web pages and recommend the creation of new content to enhance organic search rankings and AI search visibility and citations
- Oversee and manage citations and online listings to ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms
- Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and content teams, to integrate SEO and AI search strategies into their initiatives
- Assign tasks to team members, review draft content, and manage the content production pipeline to ensure timely delivery and publication
- Effectively manage numerous concurrent workstreams, prioritizing tasks and ensuring all project deadlines are met
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience related to the job description
- Proven expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with a strong understanding of current algorithms and best practices
- Demonstrated experience with AI-driven search technologies and their impact on content visibility
- Proficiency in conducting in-depth keyword research and understanding search intent
- Experience in developing and implementing successful SEO and AI Search strategies
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate recommendations to diverse audiences
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools (e.g., Brightedge, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
- Familiarity with AI prompt engineering principles is a plus
