[Remote] Product Manager (Care Navigation & Member Search)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Handl Health is a company focused on making healthcare accessible and affordable. They are seeking a Product Manager to lead the member navigation and search experience, helping users find the right healthcare providers and making informed decisions about their care.
Responsibilities
- Own the member navigation and search experience: the product members use to find providers and procedures, understand cost and quality, and choose where to get care
- Define search, ranking, and relevance: how members query, how results are ordered and filtered, and how we make the most useful option easy to find
- Turn cost and quality data into clear guidance: design how price estimates, provider information, and quality signals are presented so a non-expert can decide with confidence
- Own the experience when data is incomplete: define graceful fallbacks, confidence cues, and messaging for searches where we have partial or no answer, so members are never misled
- Partner with the data and platform teams: translate member needs into clear requirements for the pricing and provider data that powers search, and validate that what surfaces is accurate
- Define and own success metrics: search success rate, time-to-decision, result engagement, member trust and satisfaction, and steerage toward higher-value care
- Talk to members and customers regularly: understand how people actually navigate care, where search falls short, and what would make them trust a recommendation
- Build AI-native specs: focus on the member, the moment, the decision, the experience, and what “good” looks like — so engineering and design can ship against them without translation
- Champion member trust: every result and recommendation has a clear rationale and an honest story for uncertainty and edge cases
