[Remote] Private Equity Finance & Compliance Advisor

Larson Maddox is a specialized compliance consulting firm serving middle-market private equity sponsors, expanding into financial operations advisory. They are seeking a Private Equity Finance & Compliance Advisor to deliver financial oversight, NAV review, and fund-level reporting support to PE clients while enhancing compliance processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Fund Compliance Collaboration - Partner with compliance consultants on policies, procedures, ADV updates, and controls testing
• Fund Accounting Oversight - Review NAV packages, capital account statements, and financials prepared by fund administrators
• Controller-Level Review - Validate financial reporting, ensure accuracy of fund data, and strengthen internal controls for PE clients
• Compliance Testing - Perform periodic testing of financial controls, valuation processes, and reporting workflows
• Books & Records Requirements - Help clients maintain compliant financial books and records under SEC rules
• Marketing Material Validation - Review track records, performance data, and fund marketing materials for accuracy and compliance alignment
• Process & Controls Testing - Support testing of financial processes, data integrity, and reporting controls
• Client Advisory - Provide guidance to PE sponsors on best practices in fund operations, reporting, and compliance-adjacent workflows
