[Remote] Social Media Lead

YAP Media is a leading LinkedIn Marketing Agency for Thought Leaders and Business Influencers, seeking a Social Media Lead to develop personal brand strategies for high-profile clients. The role involves creating and executing content strategies for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram while managing a team to ensure impactful content creation and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Account Ownership. As the ultimate decision maker for their clients, your time will be spent setting strategic direction based on client priorities, reviewing client performance, addressing important client queries, and conducting routine research/analysis to ensure we are at the forefront of innovation for our clients
- Account Brand Strategy. Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive social media strategies that align with our 1-of-1 content strategy and client goals. This includes conducting routine strategic reviews of client’s media (e.g., books, speeches, interviews) to direct content creation and drive account growth through 1-of-1, novel content that reflects the client's unique voice and long-term objectives
- Client Communications. Provide comprehensive communications with clients, keeping them aware of ongoing efforts on their accounts as well as timely responses regarding any account questions
- Team Management. Monthly 1:1’s with engagement specialists, copywriters, and content managers within your team to understand a holistic view of their experience. Weekly check-ins with team members to solve bottlenecks
- Research & Analyses. Conduct weekly research into clients’ competitors and industry trends. Analyze social media feeds to identify emerging trends that can be leveraged in client content. Implementation, tracking, and reporting on tests to ensure a current and strong understanding of the social platforms
- Campaign Management. Monitor and maintain organic social media campaigns to ensure they are running properly and aligned with client priorities. Ensure that trackers are clean, up-to-date, and accurately reflect ongoing campaign engagement
- Team Collaboration. Work closely with social media, creative, and engagement teams to ensure timely, on-brand content creation and engagement, as well as smooth cross-team workflows
- Process Improvement. Help execute process improvement initiatives developed by VP of Social
Skills
- 4+ years of social media strategy experience
- 3+ years of copywriting experience
- 2+ years of experience managing organic social media efforts for a personal brand (outside of your own)
- Thorough understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram platforms + algorithms
- Must be able to work Eastern (EST) hours
