[Remote] Director of Sales

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. U.S. Multimodal Group (USMMG) is a North American logistics company providing various freight services. The Director of Sales will lead revenue growth by developing strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts, while collaborating with operations and pricing teams to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own annual revenue, margin, and new-logo targets across all USMMG service lines
  • Develop a customer specific strategy for intermodal, drayage, transloading, truckload, expedited, and U.S.–Mexico / U.S.–Canada cross-border services
  • Partner with operations, pricing, and network leaders to structure profitable, executable customer solutions
  • Cultivate executive relationships with shipper CSCOs, VPs of Logistics, and procurement leaders
  • Responsible for pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and CRM
  • Represent USMMG at industry events, strategic RFPs, and senior customer reviews

Skills

  • 10+ years of commercial sales experience
  • Proven track record of building and scaling multi-modal books of business
  • Strong analytical, pricing, and contract negotiation skills
  • Experience selling into Fortune 1000 shippers across CPG, retail, and industrial verticals
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify
  • A background check is required
  • Preferred experience selling North American intermodal networks, and port drayage
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Will need to travel
