[Remote] Software Engineer

This role involves hands-on coding and collaboration with a remote tech team to innovate and deliver customer value while maintaining a culture of technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on back-end Typescript development to meet customer needs
- Design and implement scalable core software that handles exponentially increasing volumes of requests
- Active collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to design, document, launch, and maintain custom capabilities
- Own ideas from inception to retirement
- Iterate and refine the core logic that powers our infrastructure, including syncing retail data and messaging customers
- Maintain a culture of technical excellence
- Conduct quick and effective code reviews
- Create detailed system design requirements
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering
- Experience with Typescript or Javascript
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with Postgres
- Experience with ElasticSearch
- Experience with Serverless Architectures
- Experience with Event-Driven Architectures
- Experience with Architecting Distributed Systems
- DevOps or DevSecOps mindset
- Experience with Jest or similar testing frameworks
- Experience with Vercel
- Experience with GCP
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Experience with React or similar frameworks
- Experience with Agile and Lean Development
- Experience in eCommerce
- Experience working at a B2B or B2C SaaS startup
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
