[Remote] Healthcare Product Manager - New Markets

AG Foundry is recruiting for a Senior Product Manager focused on evaluating and expanding new markets for a healthcare software portfolio. This role involves leading market discovery to identify investment opportunities, assessing product-market fit, and potentially driving go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead voice of customer discovery across target segments through 1:1 interviews and structured research
- Build market segmentation, use case frameworks, and clear problem statements
- Analyze competitive landscape, trends, and buyer dynamics to identify where and how to win
- Evaluate opportunities based on customer value, market potential, feasibility, and strategic fit
- Develop business cases including market sizing, assumptions, ROI, risks, and recommended investment levels
- Partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to support decision making with clear trade-offs
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders, including go/no-go and market entry sequencing
- When the opportunity is primarily portfolio fit and gap closure, own go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and commercialization alignment with Sales and Customer Success
- When net-new product is required, own product definition and delivery in partnership with Engineering and Design through launch and iteration
- Ensure pilots or early market entry efforts remain aligned to the original customer and market intent
Skills
- 7+ years of product management experience in healthcare software (or closely related health tech environments)
- Demonstrated ability to lead market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis, and translate insights into strategy
- Proven experience building business cases and supporting investment decisions (market sizing, ROI, assumptions, risk framing)
- Software delivery experience as a product manager (you have shipped products, not only done strategy)
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and regulated environments, and ability to navigate buyer and stakeholder complexity
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence, capable of leading senior stakeholder conversations
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity in 'white space' problems
- Experience with ambulatory, outpatient, or primary care workflows
- Experience with international market entry and or partnerships
- Experience running pilots, incubation efforts, or 0-to-1 product initiatives
