[Remote] Fund Accountant

Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) is a non-profit consortium representing 42 tribal villages in Interior Alaska, focused on fostering wellness and cultural preservation. They are seeking a Fund Accountant responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accurate fund accounting, and collaborating with stakeholders for financial transparency.
Responsibilities

- Ensuring accurate fund accounting
- Maintaining NAV calculations
- Generating financial reports
- Supporting finance-related activities
- Reconciling accounts
- Managing fund allocations
- Adhering to compliance standards
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve financial transparency and accuracy
Skills
- Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements, including accurate analysis and reporting
- In-depth knowledge of Fund Accounting and fund allocation processes
- Experience with Financial Reporting and maintaining compliance with relevant guidelines
- Ability to calculate and manage NAV (Net Asset Value) effectively
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with a background in Finance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools
- Experience in non-profit or tribal organizations is advantageous
