[Remote] Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager

Tailored Management is seeking a Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager with a strong understanding of consumer electronics and biocompatibility. The role involves managing multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective communication throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple biocompatibility projects for consumer electronic products
• Partner with engineering, safety, quality, and supplier teams to select safe, biocompatible materials
• Coordinate product testing, track results, and ensure testing stays on schedule
• Communicate findings, risks, and project updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Help develop and improve processes, workflows, and documentation related to biocompatibility testing
• Prioritize competing projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Skills

• BS/MS degree in Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
• 2+ years of project/program management experience
• Experience working in consumer electronics
• Basic understanding of biocompatibility, analytical testing (HPLC, ICPMS, LC/MS, GS/MS), and customer safety
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience with product development processes and stage-gate checkpoints
• Consumer electronics industry
• Experience creating workflows, SOPs, or operational processes
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry and biocompatibility assessments
