Part-Time Virtual Care Veterinary Technician - Teletriage

We believe in bringing humanity back to veterinary medicine, and we’re looking for a passionate, compassionate, and skilled Credentialed Veterinary Technician (referred to internally as Veterinary Nurse) to join our growing Virtual Care team. Available Schedules: Part - Time Teletriage: Sun / Mon | 11am-7pm PST What You’ll Be Doing: Engage with members via chat, phone, and video, providing support and education on their pets’ health and well-being Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge, offering recommendations and ensuring accurate information Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance Document clearly and accurately in patient records using veterinary terminology Verify and process prescriptions, ensuring appropriate follow-up for client requests Deliver top-tier client care with empathy and warmth, whether over chat, phone, or video Follow protocols, maintaining consistency while adjusting to each unique case Collaborate cross-functionally, providing feedback to improve processes and systems Thrive in a fast-paced, continuously learning environment, improving your skills and delivering excellent care Live and breathe our values: curiosity, integrity, excellence, accountability, and respect Why You’ll Love This Role: Adaptability is key: You’ll support different teams across Virtual Care, Clinic Success, Telemedicine, and Member Success as needed. Credentialed Veterinary Technician: You’ve successfully completed the VTNE and have at least two years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine (emergency and specialty experience is a plus but not required). Exceptional communicator: You can clearly articulate medical information, both verbally and in writing, with compassion and clarity.
