Jr. Technical Writer
Position: Technical Writer Location: Albany, NY 12236/Remote Duration: 30+ Month Experiences Required: 4-5 Years
- 4 Years of experience in drafting and developing technical writing efforts across software documentation, business processes, and IT operations
- 4 Years experience in breaking down complex information and organizing it logically for the user, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- 4 Years of experience in research and information gathering, including document analysis and interviewing stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
- 5 Years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio) to support documentation development and delivery
- 3 Years of experience in document management: organizing information; creating diagrams, charts, and other visual aids; and using documentation systems
- 3 Years of experience working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, operations and customer support, to ensure documentation aligns across system and business functions and meets user needs
- 3 Years of experience in reviewing and testing documentation, including the incorporation of feedback to update and improve content and testing for usability and accuracy
- 3 Years of experience utilizing industry standard technical summary and reporting techniques
- Bachelor’s Degree
