This is a full‑time, 8‑hour per day position based in the United States, offering a competitive salary range of $35,000‑$40,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary pharmacy information systems to enter new patient enrollments, update medication records, and process refill requests.
  • Respond to inbound patient inquiries via email, chat, and phone, providing clear, empathetic, and timely assistance while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards.
  • Initiate outbound communications to prescribers and patients when additional information or clarification is required for prescription fulfillment.
  • Audit and resolve “outside errors” by gathering missing data, making necessary corrections, and resubmitting orders for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists across multiple locations, escalating complex issues to senior staff when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Achieve a professional pharmacy certification or license within the first 90 days of employment and sustain an active credential throughout your tenure.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs, including arenaflex’s “Learn While You Earn” Pharmacy Professional Development Initiative, to continuously enhance industry knowledge.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency – ability to start and shut down a PC, navigate between applications, save and print reports, and access online resources.
  • Fundamental internet navigation skills, including using browsers, entering URLs, bookmarking, and completing web forms.
  • Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a retail or call‑center environment.
  • Experience with pharmacy licensing or certification processes, such as state pharmacy board registration.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced typing speed of 35+ words per minute and proficiency with data entry tools.
  • Bilingual capability in Spanish and English is highly valued.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Ability to listen actively, empathize with patients, and resolve concerns efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in entering prescription data, interpreting SIG codes, and handling confidential information.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quick identification of data gaps, proactive outreach for clarification, and effective resolution of errors.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working with pharmacists, technicians, and cross‑functional teams in a remote setting.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with HIPAA, state pharmacy regulations, and arenaflex’s internal policies.
  • Technical Agility: Ability to learn new software platforms, adapt to system updates, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
