- Lead and manage project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely reporting and communication of project status.
- Utilize strong IMS DBA knowledge to guide technical decisions and ensure database integrity and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Implement best practices in project management and delivery, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards, as well as industry regulations.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in IMS DBA, including database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions and technologies.
- Knowledge of additional database management systems beyond IMS.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical certifications.
