Why This Role Matters

The Remote Performance Data Analyst position sits at the heart of arenaflex’s Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) division. Within CIMA, the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team leverages advanced analytics to capture, interpret, and optimize data across both virtual and physical guest touchpoints. Your work will directly influence how arenaflex anticipates guest needs, refines contact‑center operations, and drives profitable outcomes for the world‑renowned Walt Disney World Resort (now arenaflex World Resort).

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analytics & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain robust forecasting models that predict contact‑center volume, guest arrival patterns, and revenue trends.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic business decisions, translating complex data sets into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor agent performance metrics, identify emerging issues, and deliver end‑to‑end analytical support to improve operational efficiency.
  • Design compelling visualizations and dashboards that tell a data‑driven story for senior leadership and cross‑functional partners.
  • Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior executives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Create, maintain, audit, and continuously improve reports and documentation that power multiple business processes under tight deadlines.

Measurement & Analytics Execution

  • Leverage multiple reporting platforms and data warehouses—including arenaflex, arenaflex, arenaflex, arenaflex, and Excel—to extract, transform, and load data for analysis.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity; proactively identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain confidence in analytical outputs.
  • Collaborate with business partners, product owners, and technical teams to answer high‑impact business questions with reproducible quantitative analyses.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, machine learning) to test hypotheses and surface actionable insights.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data‑science trends, statistical best practices, and industry standards, sharing knowledge with the DTOA community.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional, non‑internship experience in an analytical role, preferably within a large‑scale consumer‑facing organization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as R or Python for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Hands‑on experience with forecasting techniques, traditional statistical methods, and familiarity with machine‑learning concepts.
  • Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to ask “Why?” and dig deep into performance drivers, translating findings into business‑focused narratives.
  • Communication: Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills; ability to craft clear presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of delivering complex analytical projects on time, managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
