Job Summary The RPA Support Specialist I is responsible for the daily operations of Robotic Automations support and will support and handle all technical issues falling under RPA platforms like UiPath. This role will work on applications, networks, databases, servers and storage troubleshooting and analysis. Additionally, this role includes ongoing maintenance of all RPA bot configurations and bot access management while following Bread Financial Information Security (IS) compliance policies. Essential Job Functions: Bot Maintenance - Schedule and monitor bots in production. Engage with Information Technology (IT) infrastructure teams to ensure the availability of automated business processes and resolution of any issues that affect the execution of bots. Provide input form updating dashboards with bot execution results. Process the requests from the end-users to support engineers. Ensure the uptime is consistent for all BOTs. Incident Resolution – Take lead of issues found on RPA platform. Collaborate with the business and level II support for process exceptions or failures of bots. Provide analysis of root cause of incidents (configuration vs. defect). Collaborate with teams for the development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve incidents. Alert monitoring, reporting, prioritization and escalations. Monitor the event, bots, virtual machine alerts and notify the concerned team. Work with peers to ensure that all RPA issues are addressed. Provide workaround solutions where possible for business continuity. Handle escalation and Interaction with the Incident Management team in case of any platform instability (RPA) Operations Support - Provide for the ongoing operations, availability, and stability for RPA infrastructure such as Servers, UiPath Orchestrator, network and VM as per requirements and business directives. Monitor the availability of the Database events like DB availability, Instance availability and the space availability of disk drives and file systems. Monitor the database related activities and respond to calls from the Application support and developments teams. Monitor the backups, recovery errors, and respond to the request regarding the restoration of the DB. Monitor the metric alerts, performance-related issues like high CPU utilization, Application performance, high Memory utilization, Application tuning and Query tuning. Monitor and manage required licenses, renewals, and acquisition with internal and external teams. Monitor, troubleshoot and fix integrations between RPA and Managed nodes/echo systems. Create, maintain, and review appropriate documentation of all RPA Support teams to ensure up to date inventory. Document all procedures related to RPA support and keep the Operations Handbook updated. Be accountable for every assigned task for fixing and delivering the right support. Adhere to Bread Financial IT Governance guidelines for Incident, Problem and Change Management. Liaise with the senior run leads for patches and CRs for production deployment. Reports To: Lead Direct Reports: None Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Virtual Environment Participate in a shift pattern/on-call rotation providing coverage 24 X 5 IST. On Call and weekend coverage is required. Flexibility in scheduling with a willingness to work extra non-standard hours. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM degree. 1+ year of experience working in information technology or information services. Must speak fluent English. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in process automation, robotic process automation, or task automation. Experience monitoring tools and application issue resolution. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High level understanding of IT solution design and development methodologies Analytics skills to understand the business process, deployment skills, and log analysis Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable productivity (Incident Completions etc.) Ability to work in a culturally diverse and inclusive environment and embrace and promote the company culture Strong learner with a passion for IT solutions Ability to read and understand code (code-competency) for diagnosis and escalation Ability to create simple queries, run pre-defined scripts, configuration, security, and interpret logs and traces.
