Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning (20%)
- Listen deeply to and understand the customers who use arenaflex products, gaining meaningful insights into their needs to help define the minimum viable product (MVP) and beyond.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and prioritized needs to development teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners with clarity and confidence.
- Identify goals, success metrics, and analytics frameworks to measure product value, continuously refining and reprioritizing the product backlog based on real-world learnings.
- Manage and groom the product backlog, making informed future decisions based on the value each initiative will deliver to customers and the business.
- Monitor industry research and competitive landscapes to recommend best-in-class solutions and ensure arenaflex products remain or become category leaders.
Delivery and Execution (60%)
- Form, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through structured user research, customer interviews, and usability testing.
- Ensure all quality assurance and change control standards are met by reviewing documentation, test results, and release notes.
- Create, prioritize, and accept user stories, integrating them seamlessly into sprint and release planning cycles.
- Make product decisions that consistently drive measurable business and customer value.
- Identify and weigh the pros, cons, dependencies, risks, and value of proposed features and enhancements before committing resources.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders across the organization.
- Maintain arenaflex internal systems on a regular cadence, updating financial forecasts, product documentation, and status reports.
- Create, document, and present product artifacts in centralized knowledge repositories for organizational transparency.
- Manage purchase order processes and invoicing workflows with third-party vendors when applicable.
People and Collaboration (20%)
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners, including engineering, UX, design, analytics, and marketing teams, to drive value and proactively remove obstacles.
- Advocate passionately for the end user and key stakeholders, developing deep empathy for customer needs and ensuring their voice is heard in every product decision.
- Work closely with the product team to continuously review progress, share lessons learned, and define clear next steps for ongoing improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reside in a U.S. state where arenaflex is able to employ remote team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Solid organizational skills and a knack for managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience in product management, software development, UX, business analysis, or a related field.
- Exposure to modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies, particularly extreme programming (XP) principles such as paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift frequently.
- Proven ability to communicate with and influence both functional and technical colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team.
- Exposure to creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories within agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing to uncover genuine customer needs.

Education Requirements
The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
