[Remote] Creative/Marketing - Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mindlance is a staffing company seeking a Seasonal Concept & Trend Designer for a major apparel retailer. In this role, you will conduct trend and market research, create mood boards and presentations, and support the development of seasonal themes and concepts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trend and market research across fashion, retail, culture, and competitive brands
- Support the development of seasonal themes, big ideas, key items, and trend reporting
- Create compelling mood boards, trend decks, and concept presentations
- Assist in translating macro trends into customer-relevant concepts through the brand lens
- Support concept content creation and delivery across multiple seasons
Skills
- Fashion design degree with proven concept experience in the industry (5–10+ years)
- Strong aesthetic sense with an understanding of trend, color, and fashion concepts
- Experience creating clear and inspirational presentations and mood boards
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Understanding of concept development from trend research through seasonal storytelling
- Ability to support concept content creation and delivery across multiple seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 5–10+ years of proven concept experience in the fashion/apparel industry
- Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
