Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. API Heat Transfer is a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialty heat exchangers and heat transfer solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships within various industries such as Power Generation and Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new business in Power Generation, Data Centers, Defense, Rail & Locomotive, and Oil & Gas
  • Develop and execute market strategies for both emerging and established sectors
  • Build lasting relationships with engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders
  • Leverage insights to understand customer needs and competitive landscapes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to deliver tailored solutions
  • Own the pipeline—manage CRM, forecast accurately, and maintain a strong 12-month outlook
  • Represent our brand at trade shows, conferences, and industry events

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in Business Development or Sales Management
  • Proven success as a hunter—you know how to break into new markets and exceed targets
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
  • Selling technical products into target industries
  • Established networks in engineering and procurement
  • Familiarity with heat transfer technologies (radiators, oil coolers, HVAC, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of engine cooling and thermal management systems
