[Remote] Director of Nursing (Remote)

The Director of Nursing is responsible for building the nursing infrastructure for Lifeforce's Ultimate Longevity Center, overseeing clinical standards, staff development, and compliance across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop the ULC nursing organization, including on-site RNs and regional leads, across all clinic locations
- Own recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing development for all nursing staff across the ULC network
- Establish training programs and clinical competency standards so every nurse delivers the same high-quality Lifeforce member experience, regardless of location
- Set the tone for clinical excellence, accountability, and member-first care from day one
- Develop and maintain initial and recurring competency validation programs for all nursing staff, including annual skills assessments and continuing education requirements
- Develop and maintain clinical SOPs, nursing protocols, and escalation pathways for all on-site services, including phlebotomy, IV therapy, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, and vital signs assessment
- Translate Lifeforce medical protocols (HRT, peptide therapy, GLP-1, diagnostics) into clear, executable nursing workflows that can scale across dozens of locations
- Partner with clinical leadership and the Director of Operations to ensure nursing practice is fully aligned with Lifeforce's medical standards and member experience expectations
- Build and own quality assurance processes and metrics for nursing care delivery, including protocol adherence, documentation standards, incident reporting, medication administration compliance, member satisfaction, outcomes tracking, and clinical audit performance
- Establish standards for medication storage, handling, inventory controls, cold-chain management, and administration practices
- Own state-by-state nursing compliance across all ULC markets, including RN and NP licensure requirements, scope-of-practice rules, and supervisory obligations
- Maintain a living compliance map as new locations open, ensuring nursing staff credentials and practices meet the regulatory requirements of each state
- Partner with legal and the Director of Operations on policy development, regulatory changes, and risk management as the network scales
- Ensure all nursing documentation, medication administration records, and clinical notes meet applicable state and federal standards
- Serve as the primary Lifeforce clinical nursing point of contact for ULC franchise owners and their teams, building trust and clear lines of communication from the start
- Travel to clinic locations (approximately 40-60% of the time, particularly during the launch phase) to support openings, onboard on-site staff, and establish clinical workflows
- Represent Lifeforce's clinical standards in cross-functional ULC conversations, ensuring nursing considerations are accounted for in construction planning, room design, and operational decisions
- Proactively identify and resolve operational or clinical issues that arise at franchise locations before they escalate
- Partner closely with clinical leadership, health coaching and member experience to align nursing infrastructure with broader organizational priorities
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams on EMR and scheduling workflows, clinical communication tools, and the systems on-site nurses rely on daily
- Collaborate with virtual care team to ensure seamless coordination between telehealth providers and on-site nursing services
- Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving clinical, operational, and business needs
Skills
- Active NP Licensure
- 8+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 4 years in a nursing leadership, management, or director-level role
- Familiarity with placing IV infusions and delivering IM injections
- Demonstrated experience building clinical programs or nursing infrastructure in environments where the playbook did not yet exist
- Experience in a brick-and-mortar clinical setting such as an outpatient clinic, wellness center, or similar environment
- Comfort with multi-state licensing and the regulatory variation that comes with operating across state lines
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to earn trust and credibility with both internal clinical leadership and external franchise partners
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40 - 60% of the time, particularly during clinic launch phases
- Exposure to EMR platforms, scheduling tools, or operational workflow systems
- Familiarity with functional medicine, hormone optimization, GLP-1, or longevity medicine service lines as a clinician or in a clinical operations capacity
- Experience in a franchise or multi-location clinical environment
