[Remote] Sr. Project Manager / Program Manager - Solutions Delivery
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SR Talent Solution Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager / Program Manager specializing in Solutions Delivery. The role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of services to customers, maintaining project documentation, and directing team activities to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the identified standard, formal project documentation and prepare executive overviews as necessary
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the end-to-end delivery of services to the Customer as defined by the program structure
- Direct the completion of activities such as architecture design, engineering, change control, and operations acceptance to ensure complete success in delivering service to the Customer
- Ensure on-time delivery of all the needed documentation, building close relationships with other teams on the project and program
- Develop and maintain the project plan; migration plans; all associated documentation; and the risks, issues, and actions log
- Communicate issues and actions to the wider team
- Provide day-to-day direction of the Security and Network Teams’ activities in accordance with the agreed project plan
- Provide a forum to discuss complex scopes, issues, and analysis; take meeting minutes and discussions (recording the actions and outcomes); and communicate them to the appropriate audience
- Demonstrate extensive, proven delivery in global deployment of network and/or security-related projects
Skills
- Have 25+ years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry
- Have 15+ years of experience as a project manager and/or a service manager
- Have 3+ years of experience as a program manager
- Have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
- Possess program management experience, along with a history of managing a few large transformation programs delivering multiple streams with project manager direct reports, providing executive dashboards and reporting using automation and efficient approaches
- Possess excellent Customer interfacing skills and first-rate interpersonal skills required to work with other departments and/or subsidiaries and the Customer to develop timelines for project deliverables
- Be able to consistently demonstrate a level-headed approach, calmness, and a 'can-do' attitude
- Possess creative problem-solving skills and the ability to offer alternatives that are Customer-focused, strategic, and profitable for AT&T
- Possess a formal project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 certification)
- Be fluent in spoken and written English and maintain business-level written and spoken language fluency in at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
- Be able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision in a non-structured environment
- Take a leadership role and have experience in managing resources across multiple time zones
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Work under extremely challenging timeframes and pressure to meet Customer deadlines
- Be a self-starter, demonstrate the ability to work both in a team environment and in a standalone role, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Have the confidence to address senior management and notify them of outages in critical situations
- Be experienced in working within a change control-oriented environment
- Have solid knowledge of testing strategies and defining acceptance criteria
- Have experience in managing large teams of technical and non-technical consultants
- Be able to deliver across multiple verticals and technology vendor solutions
- Have an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation v3 certification
- Possess experience in working on a global security deployment
- Understand security terminologies, frameworks, and processes
- Must have successfully delivered multiple, large Unified Communications platforms, managed services, and/or mobility solutions
- Have experience in service management delivery
