[Remote] IT Services Consultant - FDIC
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is a company supporting complex government projects across the United States. They are seeking an IT Services Consultant to build strategy and operational excellence while partnering with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The role involves managing programs and fostering relationships with key decision makers at the FDIC.
Responsibilities
- Interface with the FDIC leadership to align GDIT capabilities and strengths to meet mission needs
- Develop and leverage relationships with key decision makers and influencers
- Strengthen alignment of GDIT organizational capabilities to client needs
- Develop and lead program teams to develop a collaborative team culture
- Providing leadership across the new business development lifecycle - from opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development through the post-submission phase of the Capture process
- Participate in all phases of the capture and growth life-cycle, providing the “voice of the customer”, including reviews and proposal and content development
Skills
- Ability to obtain relevant FDIC clearances
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, 10+ years of progressive Federal Civilian leadership experience
- Candidates must have in-depth leadership experience supporting programs at the FDIC
- Proven experience driving culture change and leading a dynamic mission-focused teams
- Strong strategic development and implementation experience, directing large teams
- Experience with federal proposal processes, delivery and execution
- Proven aptitude for teaching, coaching and mentoring
- Telework position, local to the DC metro area and ability to travel to customer sites, as needed, is required
- Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers P/PM Senior Level 3 (FAC P/PM)
- Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP)
