With a fleet that spans continents and a network that connects millions of passengers each year, arenaflex continuously sets the benchmark for operational excellence. Behind every successful flight is a robust data infrastructure that powers everything from scheduling and maintenance to customer service and regulatory compliance. As part of its ongoing digital transformation, arenaflex is expanding its data operations team and is looking for a meticulous Data Entry Specialist to help maintain the highest standards of data integrity.

Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑paced world of aviation, accurate data is not just a convenience—it’s a critical safety and business requirement. The Data Entry Specialist you become will be the guardian of that data, ensuring that information flows seamlessly across departments, supports strategic decision‑making, and complies with industry regulations. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on a company that touches the lives of travelers worldwide, while developing a skill set that is highly valued across many sectors.

Role Overview

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for entering, validating, and maintaining large volumes of data with precision and speed. You will work closely with operations, finance, compliance, and IT teams to guarantee that every data point meets the rigorous standards expected in the aviation sector. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of downstream processes, from flight planning to customer communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • High‑Volume Data Entry: Accurately input large datasets into arenaflex’s proprietary and third‑party database systems, maintaining a minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute while ensuring error‑free submissions.
  • Data Validation & Verification: Review incoming data for completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal data‑quality guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Confidentiality Management: Safeguard sensitive information, including passenger details, crew schedules, and financial records, adhering to GDPR, CCPA, and aviation‑specific data protection standards.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and correct data anomalies in collaboration with subject‑matter experts, documenting root‑cause analyses for continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams to streamline data‑entry workflows, recommend automation opportunities, and contribute to the design of best‑practice SOPs.
  • Deadline Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet daily, weekly, and monthly data‑submission deadlines, ensuring that downstream operations are never delayed.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of data‑entry activities, generate status reports for management, and support audit processes with clear, traceable records.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Assist in onboarding new data entry staff, sharing insights on system navigation, data‑quality expectations, and compliance protocols.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry, information management, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a high‑volume data entry role, preferably within a regulated industry such as aviation, logistics, or finance.
  • Demonstrated typing speed of at least 70 words per minute with a 98% accuracy rate.
  • Proficiency with data‑entry software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access, proprietary arenaflex platforms) and familiarity with database concepts.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States and reliable transportation to the designated arenaflex facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with aviation‑specific data systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, or similar reservation and scheduling platforms).
  • Knowledge of data‑governance frameworks and regulatory compliance standards applicable to the airline industry.
  • Familiarity with basic data‑analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to generate quick insights from entered data.
  • Previous involvement in process‑improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma projects.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies and errors that could have downstream operational impacts.
  • Technical Agility: Quick learner of new software interfaces, data‑validation tools, and workflow automation platforms.
  • Time Management: Efficiently juggle competing deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactively address data discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work constructively with cross‑functional teams, sharing knowledge and supporting collective goals.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly due to operational demands.
