Position Title: Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics - College of Integrated Studies Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Terminal (Fixed Term) Job Profile: Adjunct Instructor Job Duties: Attention: The College of Integrated Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County is seeking one or more adjunct Mathematics instructors to teach courses in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Candidates available to teach 50% FTE or more may be considered for a salaried Lecturer title instead. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. This will be a fixed-term appointment. Reappointment for subsequent terms is dependent upon the needs of the University, funding, staffing requirements, enrollment, and external forces. MAT 091 and MAT 095 – Elementary Algebra 2. MAT 103 - Beginning and Intermediate Algebra 3. MAT 108 – Quantitative Reasoning 4. MAT 110 – College Algebra 5. MAT 113 - Trigonometry 6. MAT 210 – Topics in Finite Mathematics 7. Key Job Responsibilities: Department: CIS | College of Integrated Studies Compensation: Well-qualified candidates can expect pay of $1,667 per credit, with 15 credits being 1.0 Full-Time Equivalency. If a candidate is hired for more than a 50% FTE position, it will become salaried. This will be commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications. Required Qualifications: A master's degree in mathematics A master's degree in a related field and 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics A master's degree in a related field and strong evidence of teaching mathematics Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching developmental and lower-division college mathematics or co-requisite support courses. Experience using learning management software to deliver courses. UW-Whitewater uses Canvas.
