The role involves assisting in delivering high-quality architectural services, contributing to the planning, design, and successful delivery of projects while ensuring positive client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering a high-quality, creative and effective architectural service, contributing to the planning, design and successful delivery of projects
  • Support project teams by applying a balanced mix of design skills, construction technology knowledge and project management capability to produce architecture that meets client needs, offers best value and is fit for purpose
  • Work closely with the Project Lead, helping them coordinate and inspire multi-disciplinary design teams to ensure the smooth and efficient progression of projects from initial concept through to completion

Skills

  • RIBA Part 1 qualification in Architecture
  • Knowledge of planning, Building Regulations, construction technology and detailed design
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others
  • Creativity and good organisation skills
  • Strong desire to deliver public buildings that make a positive difference to communities
  • Commitment to developing technical skills and professional capability
  • Progress towards chartership
