Entry Level Engineer (Construction/Civil Engineer in Water/Wastewater)

They are seeking a driven Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer in Birmingham, AL, to work on various water and wastewater projects, providing support during construction phases and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Providing on-site troubleshooting based on field conditions including construction observation, startup and testing, and project closeout activities
- Assisting with bid phase and award of construction contracts
- Construction contract administration (schedule, time, and quality management)
- Assisting in the preparation of plans and specifications
- Performing research, technical writing, development of documentation and studies
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and pdf editors
- Relevant construction and/or water/ wastewater coursework or projects
- Prior work or internship experience with an engineering consultancy or municipality
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain in the first year
