What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Professional at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while representing one of the most respected names in consumer credit. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Field Inbound Customer Calls: Answer a high volume of incoming calls from customers and prospective customers who have questions, concerns, or service requests related to their accounts, billing, payments, and general account management.
  • Provide Empathetic, Solution-Oriented Support: Listen carefully to each caller's unique situation, demonstrate genuine empathy, and work collaboratively to identify the root cause of their inquiry before presenting clear, actionable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot Account Issues: Investigate and resolve a wide variety of account-related issues, including payment processing questions, statement discrepancies, account updates, fraud concerns, and general servicing needs.
  • Educate Customers on Products and Services: Help customers understand the tools, resources, and programs available to them — including responsible credit-building strategies — so they can make informed financial decisions.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Document every customer interaction thoroughly and accurately within our proprietary systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Meet and Exceed Performance Metrics: Strive to consistently achieve individual and team goals related to call quality, customer satisfaction, handle time, and first-call resolution.
  • Stay Current on Training and Compliance: Participate in all required training sessions, stay up to date on policy changes, and adhere strictly to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Comprehensive Paid Training: Setting You Up for Success

When you join our team, you will participate in a comprehensive, paid training program that can last up to three weeks, designed to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need to excel from your very first call. Training is delivered in a structured, supportive environment where no question is too small and no learner is left behind. And the learning doesn't stop there — we also provide ongoing training opportunities throughout your career to help you continuously sharpen your skills, stay current on industry best practices, and prepare for future advancement.

Work Schedule and Shift Details

We understand that flexibility matters, which is why we offer both full-time and part-time scheduling options to accommodate a variety of lifestyles and commitments.

Full-Time Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Every other Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Part-Time Schedule

  • 20 to 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Thursday: 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Every other Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Various split-shift options are also available upon request, giving you even more control over how and when you work.

Remote Work Eligibility and Technology Requirements

This is a fully remote opportunity, but please note that candidates must reside within the states of South Dakota, Iowa, or Minnesota and must live within 100 miles of a physical arenaflex location. This ensures our team members can occasionally access in-person support, training, or equipment as needed.

To ensure a seamless and secure remote work experience, the following technology requirements apply:

  • PC: arenaflex will provide the computer you need to do your job effectively.
  • Headset: A high-quality headset will be provided by arenaflex.
  • Telephone Service: arenaflex will provide the telephone and Vonage box.
  • Internet Connection: High-speed internet access is required — either a DSL connection or a cable modem. Wireless connections are not permitted due to security and call quality standards.
  • Smart Cell Phone: A smartphone is necessary for accessing a security token application used to verify your identity when logging in.
  • Software: All required software will be provided and configured by arenaflex.
  • Phone Use Restrictions: Use of a personal cellular phone or cordless landline phone is strictly prohibited while you are actively working in the arenaflex remote workspace.
  • Speed Test: You must be able to pass the required internet speed test before onboarding.

Qualifications: What You Bring to the Table

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience — whether in retail, hospitality, call center, or another customer-facing role — is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer navigation skills and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a background check and any required pre-employment screenings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior call center, banking, financial services, or collections experience.
  • Familiarity with credit cards, consumer lending, or financial account management.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities (a plus, but not required).
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding performance metrics.
