  • Process a variety of financial products, including mortgage payments, multi‑account deposits, credit card statements, IRAs, loan payoff statements, and other specialized examinations.
  • Review, approve, and post Remote Deposit Capture, Mobile Deposit, ATM, and other image‑enabled transactions.
  • Log, analyze, and post critical GL entries, account adjustments, and returns in accordance with NACHA and Federal banking regulations.
  • Execute Stop Pay requests and check batch processing with precision and timeliness.
  • Complete daily balancing and month‑end closing procedures for the Payments department.
  • Gather and verify information from members to ensure accurate processing of domestic and international fund transfer requests.
  • Research and validate inbound and outbound fund transfer data, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with members to facilitate fund transfers, providing clear instructions and status updates.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all member data, complying with the Bank Secrecy Act, BSA/AML, and other relevant statutes.
  • Support overdue returns processing, receipt issuance, foreign collections, and prison fees as required.
  • Cross‑train on additional departmental functions and step in to fill gaps during peak periods or staff absences.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional post‑secondary education is a plus.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a customer‑service or member‑service role, preferably within a banking or credit‑union environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both academic training and hands‑on use.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to perform accurate calculations and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex financial information in a clear, friendly manner.
  • Ability to work extended hours when business needs dictate, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of operating independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to upholding compliance standards, including successful completion of arenaflex and Credit Union pre‑employment compliance exams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to wire‑transfer processing, ACH transactions, and remote deposit capture technologies.
  • Experience in fraud detection, resolution, and reporting within a financial services context.
  • Knowledge of NACHA rules, Federal Reserve regulations, and BSA/AML compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Previous involvement in a remote or hybrid work environment, showcasing effective time management and self‑discipline.
